Location: NYS Fairgrounds

Join union members, labor advocates, and fairgoers at the New York State Fair Labor Day Parade & Rally 2026, a longstanding Labor Day tradition held at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse. Organized as part of the Fair’s closing day celebrations, this annual event honors the contributions of working people across New York while bringing together labor organizations from throughout the state for a spirited parade and rally. The event begins at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 7, 2026, at the Exposition Center on the New York State Fairgrounds.

The Labor Day Parade & Rally is one of the Fair’s signature closing-day events, featuring organized labor groups marching together in celebration of workers and the labor movement. Visitors attending the parade can also enjoy everything the 2026 Great New York State Fair has to offer, including agricultural exhibits, live entertainment, concerts, midway rides, food vendors, and hundreds of attractions throughout the fairgrounds. The 2026 Fair runs from August 26 through September 7, making Labor Day the final opportunity to experience New York’s largest annual state fair.
