Executive Branch Employees

CSEA members have overwhelmingly ratified a new five-year contract with New York state, securing meaningful investments in wages, health care, workplace protections and quality-of-life improvements for more than 55,000 state employees.

The agreement, which runs through April 1, 2031, includes annual salary increases, health insurance improvements that reduce out-of-pocket costs, paid prenatal leave, increased location pay, and other workplace and contractual improvements.

RETROACTIVE PAY UPDATE

The New York State Comptroller’s Office has released information regarding the retroactive 4.5% salary increase for eligible CSEA-represented state employees under our newly ratified contract.

The retroactive increase will be reflected in Sept. 23 paychecks for employees on the Administration payroll and Oct. 1 paychecks for employees on the Institution payroll. The Comptroller’s bulletin also provides detailed information on eligibility, retroactive adjustments, overtime, and other payments affected by the increase.

Members are encouraged to review the State Comptroller’s payroll bulletin for complete information about the upcoming payments.
