A Message from CSEA President Mary E. Sullivan

A decision to retire should bMarySullivan2019_edit_verticale made only after long thought and careful planning because people are living longer than ever before. With that in mind, CSEA has prepared a special Retirement Guide.

The CSEA Retirement Guide is an excellent resource to help you make retirement decisions that best suit your needs. It contains a wealth of information that will help you set goals, evaluate options, and anticipate future needs. And remember, it is never too early to start planning for retirement.

You can be assured CSEA’s concern for our members does not end when they retire. The union continuously strives to improve the quality life of all working people – active and retired!

One more thing. When you leave the job, remember to join a CSEA retiree local. (A postage-paid membership application is in the back of the guide.)

The union has 21 retiree locals throughout New York state and three locals in Florida. They hold regular membership meetings where you can get the latest information on a wide range of issues important to you and also spend time with friends and former co-workers.

In Solidarity,
